The Romanian white-collar immigrants in Brussels

The paper issued from the Master thesis of Sanda Nicola is published on-line in Belgeo. The research reveals a list of reasons for white-collar immigrats  to move to Brussels and analyses the sense of place in relation to previous and current places of life. The increase of middle class leaving Romania is especially motivated by the desire to achieve a transnational lifestyle and an improvement of subjective weel-being.
